Ballarat Performing Arts Community is currently in possession of the Neill St. property in a licence agreement with its owners – Uniting Church Australia.
We have the option to buy the property after February 2026, for a price of $2,000,000.
This is an essential purchase for and on behalf of the performing arts community of Ballarat, to own and manage our own venue. The hub is also already becoming a home for many of our member companies and performers.
We will utilise, maintain and eventually add to these buildings, while preserving their heritage appeal and features, saving and celebrating this slice of Ballarat’s history now, and for future generations to enjoy.
By filling out this form and pledging to give an amount of your choosing (every single dollar counts), you will become part of our history, and an important part of our community.
We are utilising many different methods and exploring many avenues to reach our target, and we will keep you updated with our progress.
Monies pledged will only be withdrawn once our target is reached, and final confirmation will be requested at that time.
