The Wanderers Theatre are hosting our first-ever Gala Night!
The Wanderers Theatre is a Ballarat-based independent theatre company specialising in Site-Specific Theatre. The company was founded in 2024 by a group of diverse young artists, united by their passion for creating unique and innovative work. The Wanderers Theatre values inclusivity and reinvention. We aim to create exciting theatre that challenges traditions, as well as provide opportunities for emerging artists. Based on Wadawarrung and Dja Dja Wurrung Country (Ballarat VIC), The Wanderers are committed to providing professional quality theatre to regional audiences, as well as increasing performance opportunities for regional artists
After a fabulous season of shows last year, with two successful productions, A Midsummer Night’s Dream: An Immersive, Site-Specific Theatre Experience (January 2025) and Vinegar Tom (November 2025), it is time to celebrate and look ahead!
We would be delighted if you would join us on the 29th of May at BPAC to celebrate our 2025 season, find out more about our company, and be the first to hear our plans for 2026! The night will include: Live Music and Performances, Free Nibbles, Drinks Available at the Bar, Our 2026 Show Announcement and much more!
This Gala will be an opportunity to meet other Ballarat-based creatives, learn how to get involved with The Wanderers Theatre, and, most importantly, all profits made will go towards funding our upcoming show and allow us to continue making independent theatre more accessible to Ballarat audiences and creatives.
We hope to see you there, whether you’re connecting with us for the first time or are a Wanderers veteran. Cheers to dancing the night away in the name of independent theatre!
